May 17th - 23rd: Family Watch Week

During this week, dancers will have their class(es) at the normal day and time. Families are welcome to come into class to watch this week. If possible, please limit your family members to just parents. Dancers will wear their normal dress code during family watch week! 

May 24th - May 30th Studio Dress Rehearsal

Dancers will wear their recital costume to class this week. All dance classes will happen at their normal day and time in the dance studio. This will be a great time to practice the dance in our outfits and help them get ready for the show. 

• We will be open on Memorial Day weekend and Memorial Day! 

• This week is only for dancers that are performing in our recital

Saturday, May 31st: Tentatively 10:00am - Dress Rehearsal

On Saturday, May 31st we will have our dress rehearsal at our recital venue (Summers Corner Performing Arts Center). The doors will open at 9:30am, dancers need to be dropped off by 9:55am as the rehearsal will start promptly at 10:00am. We cannot wait for you if you are running late. Please plan in advance for travel time and possible traffic.

Saturday, May 21st 5:00pm - Destination Dance 2025 Recital

It is finally time for their big moment to show off all of the hard work that they have put into these dances. We cannot wait for an amazing show! The doors will open at 4:30pm. Dancers must be dropped off by 4:55pm. We cannot wait for you if you are running late. Please plan in advance for travel time and possible traffic.

Dance Recital Ticketing:

We are using Dance Recital Ticketing again this year. No tickets are needed for dress rehearsal. Tickets will be for sale starting in April 2025.

• Seating is first come, first served. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the show starting.

• If a child is going to sit on a lap, they do not need a ticket. 

• Dancer’s who are released at intermission do not need a ticket; however, if they can sit on a lap to save seating, that would be preferred. 

• If we do sell all of our lower level tickets, we will open up the upper level. 

Recital Dance Videos For Pracitce

Once we start working on recital dances. We will make videos in class and upload them to a Google Drive for you to practice at home!

Important Notes:

Hair: Dancers hair needs to be pulled back so that we can see their pretty face! This can be done however works best for your dancer (half up, high pony, low pony, bun) preferably no braids please. All Intermediate and Senior dancers are asked to have a mid/low ponytail if your hair is long enough.

Jewelry: If your dancer's ears are pierced, we recommend that they just wear diamond or pearl earrings. Please do not wear any bracelets, necklaces or watches!

Dancer Drop Off/Pick Up: 

• Bring them to the restroom on your way to drop off. We are encouraging that every single dancer goes to the bathroom before they are dropped off. This will make things much easier for our staff! 

• Drop them off completely ready to perform in their costume and shoes.

• Do not bring any toys, snacks, etc into the dressing room. We will have toys for them to play with while they wait to go on stage. 

• You will pick your dancer up in the same room that you dropped them off. 

• Our entire staff will have access to your contact information in case of any emergencies.
